Knowledge Incubation Centre
A knowledge incubation centre is functional in College of Engineering Thalassery to enhance research activities and cultivate a pleasant research atmosphere in the campus. The primary focus of the KNOWLEDGE INCUBATION CENTER (KIC-COET) is to promote Research and Innovations among the Faculty and Students by identifying new Research Areas, Developing Projects leading to Publications, Products, collaborative research etc. This centre is also providing technical support to the Technology business incubation centre (TBI) functioning in the college.
The Incubation centre aims to promote and support untapped creativity of Faculty / Students/ professionals/ local community etc. It also seeks to promote networking and forging of linkages with other constituents of the innovation chain for commercialization of their developments, provide support and training for faculties and students who are interested in converting their social ideas into social start-up/ Publications/Products.
We are committed to support and nurture all innovative ideas from faculties/professionals / students/ local community and also to foster such entrepreneurial ideas in a supportive environment before they become attractive for venture capital. Incubation Centre at College of Engineering Thalassery facilitates necessary infrastructure, prototype development support, research assistance, help for getting project funding, mentoring and guidance to make their idea into a successful venture.
The incubation Centre aims at:
