The application process for MCA (Master of Computer Application) in Kerala through the LBS (Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology) involves online registration, fee payment, and document upload. Candidates need to register on the LBS website and fill in the required details, including personal information, academic qualifications, and preferences for colleges. The application fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs. 1000. Candidates should also upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and other necessary documents. The LBS center will conduct an entrance exam or use qualifying exam marks to prepare a rank list for seat allotment.

1. Online Registration:
  • Visit the LBS website for MCA admissions.
  • Register online by providing the necessary details and create a confidential password.
  • Fill the online application form accurately, as details cannot be updated later.
2. Fee Payment:
  • Pay the application fee online or via challan at a designated bank.
  • The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General and SEBC candidates.
  • SC/ST candidates may have a reduced fee.
3. Document Upload:
  • Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents (e.g., mark sheets, certificates) as per the specifications provided.
  • Ensure the uploaded images are clear and meet the prescribed size and format requirements.
4. Entrance Exam or Rank List:
  • The LBS center may conduct an entrance exam for MCA admissions.
  • The rank list will be prepared based on the entrance exam score or qualifying exam marks.
5. Subsequent Allotment and Fee Remittance:
  • Allotment of seats will be done based on the rank list, candidate preferences, and seat availability.
  • Candidates will be notified of their allotment status through the LBS website.
  • Candidates need to remit the required fees at the College.
